A Rising Star....Good Luck Carrie!!!

Carrie Forgan, Star Of The Stage....& The Larachs

She's a star behind the bar - regulars at the Larachs already know that!  Now, our very own Carrie is taking centre stage in the regional finals of Open Mic UK. This weekend, Carrie will travel to Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall to compete in Britain's biggest singing competition.  Those of us lucky enough to have heard Carrie's powerful vocals, already appreciate the extent of her talent.  So, we weren't surprised when she sailed through to the Scottish Finals, beating hundreds of other competitors at the auditions, after impressing judges with her performance of Radiohead's 'Creep'.  A win at the Scottish event this Saturday would give Carrie the opportunity to compete for a recording contract in the national final at London's O2 Arena.  Find out more in this feature at Fife Today.
